CSR mental health initiatives

Partner with Mindscape to deliver measurable social impact through community mental health programmes across Kenya and East Africa.

The opportunity

Why mental health is a CSR priority in Kenya

Mental health is one of the most pressing yet underfunded areas of public health in Kenya. With approximately one therapist per 450,000 people and significant cultural stigma surrounding mental illness, millions of Kenyans lack access to the support they need.

For organisations with corporate social responsibility (CSR) mandates, mental health represents an opportunity to create measurable, lasting impact in the communities where they operate — improving wellbeing, reducing stigma, and aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Partnership models

Four ways to partner with us

Community therapy access

Sponsor therapy sessions for individuals in underserved communities. Your organisation funds a pool of sessions that community members can access through Mindscape. Receive anonymised impact reports showing reach and outcomes.

Youth mental health programmes

Partner with us to support mental health programmes for young people — integrated with schools, youth organisations, and community groups. Includes age-appropriate therapy, Nuru, and educational content.

School partnerships

Sponsor mental health support for students and educators. We provide therapy access, mental health literacy workshops, and educator training with appropriate consent processes and age-appropriate safeguards.

NGO collaborations

Collaborate with NGOs working in mental health, refugee support, gender-based violence, and community development. We provide technology, therapist networks, and AI tools to amplify their impact.

Impact measurement

Detailed, anonymised reports

Use these reports in your CSR publications, sustainability reports, and stakeholder communications.

  • Number of individuals reached and sessions conducted
  • Anonymised wellbeing trends (aggregated mood and wellness data)
  • Therapist utilisation rates across different communities
  • Geographic reach and anonymised demographic breakdown
  • Qualitative feedback from participants (with consent)
